Mother Bear Project - Barb Knittybarb who is one of the hosts of the audio podcast 2 knit Lit Chicks. Barb will be collecting Mother Bears at Sitches West (Feb 23-27) and then shipping them to MN. The drop-off point will be Booth #941 - Ellen's Wooly Wonders. There is a limit of 5 bears per person, and anyone dropping off bears needs to have the $3 per bear with the bears.


The Proverbial Knitter is teaming up with theotheramylee of the awesome Canon Hand Dyes yarn for a special limited edition skein of her Jane base (my favorite - MCN!). It will be 425 yards, 80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon and SELF-STRIPING in Fred colors - black, white, and “acceptable” pink. I’ll show a sample on the podcast soon. :-)

Pre-orders will begin on Valentine’s Day (because we love Fred) and go through February 29th. All sales will be handled by Amy’s Etsy Shop - The Amy Lee Show.

Mystery KAL: Laura Linneman is having her first Mystery KAL and it of course is her design too. The KAL starts February 12th. There will be 3 clues and the pattern is called "Mittens For Me" cost is $4 if you purchase it by the time all of the clues have been released. It calls for fingering weight yarn too. Sign up will start at the end of January. I think this will be an awesome KAL and it would be wonderful if we could all support Laura with her first KAL too.
